Thomas McGregor is a Vice President with Equitable Advisors and currently oversees our team of advisors in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Thomas began his career with Equitable Advisors in March of 2010 after briefly working in the banking industry and graduating from Clemson University with a B.S. in Management and Minor in Finance in 2008.
In December of 2012 Thomas was promoted to Regional Vice President of Equitable Advisors. His responsibilities include recruiting and developing financial professionals to work with the firm's new and existing client base.
He is a member of a specialized division within Equitable Advisors, called the Retirement Benefits Group (RBG). The RBG provides customized goals-based wealth management strategies and financial education to meet the retirement needs of those who serve and build our communities - educators and staff in our public schools, colleges and universities; hospital and municipal workers; and, nonprofit employees. As a goals-based planning firm we take a comprehensive approach that includes Deferred Compensation Retirement Planning, Market Investing, Wealth Accumulation, Distribution, Taxes, Insurance and Estate Planning strategies filtered through the lens of what our clients want and need.
In the community, Thomas is involved with Junior Achievement of Central SC, Palmetto State Teachers Association (PSTA) and South Carolina Association of School Business Officials (SCASBO).
